The value of dynamic elastomeric fabric orthoses in the management of a complex hypermobile Ehlers‐Danlos syndrome patient: A case report

Abstract: The use of dynamic elastomeric fabric orthoses is examined in a young woman with hypermobile Ehlers‐Danlos syndrome (hEDS) referred for physiotherapy with hip dysplasia, prior to a right periacetabular osteotomy. Dynamic elastomeric fabric orthoses plus rigorous subjective examination, therapists' listening skills, and patient‐centered goals were useful for this hEDS patient.
