The Value of a College Degree for Foster Care Alumni: Comparisons with General Population Samples

Abstract: Higher education is associated with substantial adult life benefits, including higher income and improved quality of life, among others. The current study compared adult outcomes of 250 foster care alumni college graduates with two samples of general population graduates to explore the role higher education plays in these young adults' lives.
