The use of the Gross Motor Function Classification System in cerebral palsy registers: quo vadis?

Abstract: different clinical populations, even if sensitivity and specificity remained the same.Such issues need to be kept in mind when attempts are made to translate findings such as those of Spittle et al. into etiological knowledge versus clinical communication. While certainly helpful in the former area, they might be less useful in the latter.
