The use of relational database systems in the educational institution site control

Abstract

The paper discusses the basic requirements for hosting and updating information on the official website of the 
 
 educational institutions in the information and communication space, which are the input parameters for the 
 
 design of the structure and functionality of the site. The analysis of the input parameters on the examples of 
 
 existing websites of universities are given. Structural and functional parameters for reducing the burden on 
 
 the site administrator are defined. The example of the site of the educational institution «The Russian State 
 
 University of Tourism and Service» is given.
