Abstract: Introduction: Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD) is defined as "spontaneous, intrusive, and unwanted genital arousal (tingling, throbbing, pulsating) in the absence of sexual interest and desire" and traditionally causes marked distress, embarrassment and shame.
