The use of over-the-scope clip in the treatment of persistent staple line leak after re-sleeve gastrectomy: Review of the literature

Abstract: Staple line leak after sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is a severe complication associated with increased mortality rates and the potential need for reoperation. We report the successful management of a re-SG staple line leak with the use of an endoscopic over-the-scope clip.
