The Use Of MEWMA Control Chart In Controlling Major Component Of Cement Product

Abstract: Cement is one of the industrial products that has a quality control process. Major component that consists of SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , Fe 2 O 3 , CaO, MgO and SO 3 as basic component in cement product. This research explains about quality control of major component of cement by using MEWMAcontrol chart. The way to measure the performance of the control chart is used ARL as the average run observation to find the first out of control data. ParameterARL 0 is the average run observation of in control data. In this resea… Show more

“…The MEWMA control chart has better performance in the mean process [16]- [17], and its modeling for the spread of COVID-19 [18]- [19]. The multivariate EWMA model has significant results on industrial monitoring quality control [15], [20]- [23]. Meanwhile, the multivariate CUSUM also has better performance in bootstrapping [24] and the process mean monitoring and its comparison [25]- [27].…”

“…Midi and Shabbak (2011) has used the robust multivariate control chart to detect small shifts in mean. Sari and Devianto (2020) explain that multivariate exponentially weighted moving average control chart for monitoring exponentially distributed quality characteristics of products, where the exponential distribution is characterized by the characteristic function in the sense of convolution by Devianto (2016Devianto ( , 2018. The sum of an exponential distribution is the hypoexponential distribution can be set by the stabilizer constant such as describe by Devianto et al (2015a,b).…”
