“…However, the use of a minimally invasive approach in T4 colon cancer, which is associated with infiltrated organs or peritoneum, has not been universally standardized. A recent publication from a Cleveland Clinic group revealed that a laparoscopic approach for T4 colon cancer was under evaluation with promising results. Both groups in HIPECT4 were balanced according to this issue, and it was not considered a confounding factor for the HIPEC benefits.…”
