The use of industrial wireless networks based on standard ISA-100.11a and protocol WirelessHART in process control

Abstract: This article considers wireless technologies in the field of automation of technological processes and production in the energy, chemical, petrochemical and oil refining, gas, railway, mining, metallurgical and other industries where the use of wireless industrial devices is necessary due to specific features. Wireless technologies provide the ability to connect measuring devices directly to the wireless network with further transfer of information through a wireless gateway to an automated control system. Thi… Show more

“…At the heart of 5G's technological leap is the utilization of millimeter wave (mmWave) frequencies. This spectrum, which lies in the 30 GHz to 300 GHz range, is a departure from the lower frequencies used by previous cellular network generations [13,14]. The higher frequency bands of mmWave enable unprecedented data transmission rates, facilitating gigabit-per-second speeds that can support data-intensive applications like ultra-highdefinition video streaming, virtual reality, and augmented reality experiences.…”

“…Multitasking and concurrent data processing within the framework of parallel programming allow optimal utilization of resources in multiprocessor and multicore systems, graphics processors, and clusters -groups of computers unified for collaborative operation. Parallel computations can offer substantial benefits regarding performance and data processing time, especially in domains necessitating intensive computational tasks, such as steganography [7,8]. A foundational principle for effective parallel programming is the capability for proper decomposition and task distribution.…”
