Abstract:Patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) may require solid organ transplants (SOTs) for multiple reasons, making its prevalence slightly higher than the general population. Although immunosuppression used in SOT may help control IBD-related inflammation, many patients still require additional immunosuppressive medications.
