The Use of Drones in Modern Length and Angle Metrology

Abstract: In the paper a possibility of drones application in length and angle metrology was discussed. Some basic issues of metrology in mechanical engineering scale was presented. The use of drones for micro, meso and macro scale was briefly described. Different options and configurations were shown, including benefits and possible problems.
