The unemployment of intelligence.

Abstract: THE UNEMPLOYMENT OF INTELLIGENCEIntelligence is usually conceived as the capacity to achieve a given end. The value of the end to be achieved is not taken into consideration. The merit of the goal should be examined, however, since the devotion of a keen mind to a stupid cause is a waste of talent, both for the individual and for society. Whether the end is worth while may be as important as the amount of ability needed for its attainment.
