The TP Chromatic Aberration Estimation by Using Neural Networks

Abstract: The chromatic aberration estimations of touch panel (TP) film by using neural networks are presented in this paper. The neural networks with error back-propagation (BP) learning algorithm were used to catch the complex relationship between the chromatic aberration, i.e., L.A.B. values, and the relative parameters of TP decoration film. An artificial intelligent (AI) estimator based on neural model for the estimation of physical property of TP film is expected to be developed. From the simulation results shown,… Show more

“…The lightness and color of TP film are usually appointed by the customer. In our previous studies [6][7][8], we clarified that the property of chromatic aberration is highly correlated with the influencing factors such as the coating target composition, the layers of coating material, the thickness of film, the position of plate placed and the rotation speed of evaporator's holder. The relationship between chromatic aberration and these possible influencing factors is very complex, nonlinear and hardly defined.…”
