Abstract: In this study, cerium ion (Ce3+)‐doped calcium scandium silicate garnet (Ca3Sc2Si3O12, abbreviated CSSG) phosphors were successfully synthesized using the sol–gel method. The crystal phase, morphology, and photoluminescence properties of the synthesized phosphors were thoroughly investigated.
