The Sustainability Ethic in the Management of the Physical, Infrastructural and Natural Resources of Zimbabwe

Abstract

holds a BSc Degree in Rural and Urban Planning and MSc in Social Ecology from the University of Zimbabwe. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Free State, South Africa. His study focuses on Applied Systems Analysis in planning with reference to urban dilemmas and emerging human settlements forms nexus. Abraham has published more than 10 articles and book chapters in national and international peer-reviewed journals that include Springer and two book chapters in Urbanisation and Its Impact on Socio-Economic Growth in Developing Regions. His research areas are urban sustainability, environmental planning and management, rural development and the planning of cities and towns.Aurthur Chivambe is a Graduate of BSc Hons in Rural and Urban Planning, (University of Zimbabwe). His research interests include socio-economic development, project planning and management and urban and regional planning for sustainability.Barbara Chibvamushure holds q Master's degree in Development Studies (NUST), BSc Honours Degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies (WUA), Diploma in Industrial Relations (UZ) and Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation (UZ). She has worked as a secretary and office management in various faculties and departments within the University of Zimbabwe.
