Education must have a good and robust foundation, because with this foundation, the direction of the implementation of education is not merely a momentary shock or turmoil. The foundation of knowledge is an essential in the process of advancing education. Thus, the basis of education is a fundamental problem because the primary school will determine the style and content of learning. In the meantime, its relation to Islamic teaching, the basis or foundation of Islamic education, is the foundation that forms the basis or principle to stand tall. Therefore, the basis of Islamic culture must be considered comprehensively in revealing through the next educational steps. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are sources of Islamic law and complete knowledge, covering the whole of human life, both the world and the hereafter. Both become an apparent clue for humans and the pace of their lives at all times. Al-Qur'an and Hadith, as a basis for Islamic education as well as a source of shari'a teachings, not only work as a book but also exploration for daily life. Islam is a religion that carries a mission so that people conduct education and teaching.This is an open access article under the CC-BY-SA license.

The COVID-19 Hoax News in Indonesia Context: Looking Beyond the Essence Using Content Analysis

The hoax has been widely discussed in many studies employing various approaches, and one of the hoaxes massively spread recently is news about COVID-19. This qualitative study aims at investigating the essence of hoax news related to COVID-19 in the Indonesian context using a content analysis approach. The main source of data was 50 hoax news collected from turnbackhoax.com, which is one of the credible anti-hoax news sources in Indonesia. The present study collected the news from 1st January 2022 until 30th March 2020. They were then analysed and interpreted qualitatively. The research findings revealed that hoax news circulated during this pandemic era mostly had the purpose of sparking public panic, especially panic buying and panic moving. To trigger such a condition, writers of hoax news frequently used symbols such as time markers (time signals) and quantifiers and involved famous figures. This implies that hoaxes are not only spread during political events or other important occasions but also when most humans in the world experience mass trauma, which in this case is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Honesty has discussed in various disciplines. Honesty studies have carried out to examine the relationship of honesty with many factors that influence certain fields of science. This study aims to present a multidimensional study to convey the goodness of honesty as a tangible manifestation of the normative message that honesty guide to goodness and it will lead to happiness. This study uses a text analysis method in the form of a literature review through searching several resources. The sources that found is analysed by Wilson's procedure. The results of this study shows that honesty as a whole has a good impact on the physical health and mental health of individuals. Honesty related to many psychological attributes. Therefore, it recommended embedding motivations in educational honesty that concluded from various scientific disciplines.
