Abstract: Background Naoshuantong capsule (NSTC) is an oral Chinese medicine formula composed of Typhae Pollen (TP), Radix Paeoniae Rubra (PR), Curcumae Radix (CR), Gastrodiae Rhizoma (GR) and Radix Rhapontici (RR).
