The study of a wound brushless doubly fed machine based on a rotor with the reluctance effect

Abstract: The brushless doubly fed machine is a new type of variable-speed, constant-frequency AC generator. In this paper, we combine the winding type rotor with a reluctance rotor and propose a new type of magnetoresistive effect of the wound rotor type. First, the three-dimensional finite element model is established using finite element analysis software, and the structure and principle of the model are introduced; second, based on the principle of sine winding, a new type of winding with a higher fundamental windin… Show more

“…The BDFM stator winding contains power winding (PW) and control winding (CW), the two set of windings have different pole numbers. Its rotor adopts special structure, such as special-cagetype rotor, reluctance rotor, and wound rotor [5][6][7][8][9]. The specialcage-type rotor has low cost and easy to process, it has great starting and asynchronous running performance.…”
