The Structure of Hydrazones

Abstract: The review surveys the present state of research on the conformation, isomerism, and intramolecular interactions of molecules of the immense class of organic compounds containing a hydrazone group. A list of 221 references is included. CONTENTS 442Russian Chemical Reviews, 39 (6), 1970 convenience we shall henceforward term the nitrogen atom in the azomethine group the imine nitrogen, and the other atom the amine nitrogen. The triatomic hydrazone group is characteristic of a large number of organic compounds of… Show more

“…The corresponding ED patterns in Figure 2d show several diffraction rings, which can be characterized as the (111), (220), (311), (400), (511), and (440) planes (from inner to outer) and further reveal the cubic spinel structure of the product. ions, [39,40] [41] reacts on the surface of the spheres to form In 2.77 S 4 flakes in different directions. These flakes then collide with each other and yield an entangled network morphology.…”

“…Hydrazones have been reported to possess fluorescence properties (Qin et al, 2009) and various biological activities such as to be used as insecticides, antitumor agents and antioxidants (Kitaev et al, 1970), as well as antimicrobial (Ramamohan et al, 1995) and antiviral properties (El-Tabl et al, 2008;Rollas & Küçükgüzel, 2007) and tyrosinase inhibitory activity (Bendre et al, 1998). With our on-going research on structural studies and properties of hydrazones Fun et al, 2010;Jansrisewangwong et al, 2010), the title compound (I) was synthesized.…”
