Abstract: The Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases (BVMOs) are a group of bacterial enzymes that are able to catalyze the synthetically useful Baeyer-Villiger oxidation reaction. As such, these enzymes have attracted considerable attention as potential industrial biocatalysts.
