Abstract: The incidence of non-albicans Candidainfections has witnessed a substantial rise in recent decades.Candida glabrata (Nakaseomyces glabratus), an opportunistic human fungal pathogen, is accountable for both superficial mucosal and life-threatening bloodstream infections, particularly in immunocompromised individuals.
