The speech communication curriculum in the community college

Abstract

This article describes the ideal comprehensive community college, a general profile of the community college student, and how a speech communication curriculum can be developed to fit the unique functions of the community college. The authors offer suggestions for a speech communication curriculum in college transfer, technical/career education, community services, and compensatory education programs for the community college.
