Abstract: The poppy (Papaver somniferum) is a very sensitive crop, suffering from specific types of abiotic and biotic damage. Herbicides, soil conditions, weather and their combination are frequent causes of abiotic damage. Specific type of herbicide deformation is spiral stem.
