The social media popularity of pre-candidates for the 2022 Brazil elections.

Abstract: In order to keep vigilance on the political-digital scenario of Brazil, this study conducts a series of data obtaining and analysis around the popularity of Brazilian politicians on social networks and in google searches. Although no scientifically well-established correlation connects the popularity of digital media with the intention of a population to vote, this study proves to be usefully informative about the configuration of the political-digital scenario in Brazil.
