Binh Duong jest wiodącą prowincją w Wietnamie w zakresie rozwoju przemysłu. W szczególności kamieniołomy w Di An, Phu Giao i Tan Dong Hiep znacząco przyczyniły się do wzrostu produkcji materiałów budowlanych i wzrostu usług transportowych w okolicy. Kamieniołomy w prowincji Binh Duong eksploatowane są metodą odkrywkową. Głębokość wydobycia wynosi od 100 m do 150 m. Powierzchnia kopalni wynosi setki hektarów. Po zakończeniu eksploatacji pozostają ogromne pustki eksploatacyjne. Obecne przepisy Wietnamu dotyczące zamknięcia kopalń mają na celu głównie zapewnienie stabilności wyrobisk przy jednoczesnym użytkowaniu gruntów po zamknięciu kopalni. Prowincja Binh Duong charakteryzuje się szybkim tempem urbanizacji, użytkowanie gruntów poeksploatacyjnych jest tutaj bardzo ważne i ma znaczący wpływ na zrównoważony rozwój regionu. W zależności od zajmowanego obszaru kopalni lub zrzeszenia kopalń istnieje wiele sposobów zamknięcia kopalni po wydobyciu w oparciu o wymagane kryteria techniczne, ekonomiczne, społeczne i środowiskowe. W artykule wykorzystano rozmyty, wieloatrybutowy model decyzyjny do obliczenia wyboru optymalnego rozwiązania. Wybraną opcją jest wykorzystanie wyrobiska pokopalnianego do celów turystycznych, rekreacji i magazynowania wody. Przedstawiono propozycje dla kopalni Nui Nho w mieście Di An w prowincji Binh Duong związane z najwyższym łącznym wynikiem ekonomicznym, społecznym i kryteriami środowiskowymi.

High Andean rivers are fragile ecosystems in the face of various threats, including heavy metal contamination. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential ecological risk of heavy metals in surface sediment of lotic systems in the central region of Peru. Composite samples of surface sediments were collected from the Chía and Miraflores rivers and the concentrations of heavy metals were determined. The ecological risk analysis was carried out based on the contamination indexes and confirmed by the modified degree of contamination (mCd). The concentration of heavy metals in the sediment of the Chía river was in the following descending order: Fe > Mn > Zn > V > Pb > Cr > Ni > Cu > Mo > Hg, y en el río Miraflores fue: Fe > Mn > Zn > Ni > V > Cr > Cu > Pb > Hg > Mo. The mean concentration of Cu, Cr, Fe, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, and V in the sediment samples in both rivers did not exceed the threshold values of the continental crust concentration, nor the interim sediment quality guidelines of the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment. However, the mean concentration of Hg exceeded the guideline values in the Miraflores river and the likely effect (0.7 mg.kg−1) adverse effects. The values of the enrichment factor (EF), contamination factor (CF), geoaccumulation index (Igeo), and pollution load index (PLI) indicated low contamination in the sediments of the rivers studied, being confirmed by the modified degree of contamination (mCd). Finally, the risk assessment showed that heavy metals in the sediments presented a low potential ecological risk.

EffEct of thE EntirE coal Basin flooding on thE land surfacE dEformationthis paper presents one of the environmental problems occurring during underground mine closures: according to the underground coal mine closure programme in Germany, the behaviour of the land surface caused by flooding of the entire planned mining area -the ruhr district -had to be addressed. it was highlighted that water drainage would need to be continuous; otherwise, water levels would rise again in the mining areas, resulting in flooding of currently highly urbanised zones. Based on the variant analysis, it was concluded that the expected uniform ground movements caused by the planned rise in the mining water levels (comprising a part of two concepts -flooding up to the level of -500 m a.s.l. and −600 m a.s.l.), in the rAG Aktiengesellschaft mines, will not result in new mining damage to traditional buildings. the analysis included calculations of the maximum land surface uplift and the most unfavourable deformation factor values on the land surface, important from the point of view of buildings and structures: tilt T, compressive strain εand tensile strain ε + . the impact of flooding on potential, discontinuous land surface deformation was also analysed.
