The Significance of Rises in Rhesus Antibody Titre Following Amniocentesis

Abstract: The relationship between increases in rhesus antibody titre following amniocentesis and perinatal mortality, in current and subsequent pregnancies, is assessed. In a current pregnancy, fetal prognosis was related more closely to antibody level before amniocentesis than to rises occurring after it.
