The Significance of Rises in Rhesus Antibody Titre Following Amniocentesis

Abstract

The relationship between increases in rhesus antibody titre following amniocentesis and perinatal mortality, in current and subsequent pregnancies, is assessed. In a current pregnancy, fetal prognosis was related more closely to antibody level before amniocentesis than to rises occurring after it.
