Abstract: Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is a pulmonary infection that occurs as a mechanical ventilator-related disease which accounts for almost 80% of hospital-acquired pneumonia with of high mortality rate, lengthens the hospital-stay rate and increases health costs.
