The Sensitivity Design of Piezoresistive Acceleration Sensor in Industrial IoT

Abstract: Piezoresistive acceleration sensors are widely used in various fields of the industrial Internet of Things because of their lightweight, fast response, and small size. The structural sensitivity of the sensor affects the accuracy of the measurement. And the sensitivity that the traditional method designs are only a feasible solution, not an optimal solution. Due to the differences in factory processes, the optimization of structural sensitivity is an NP-hard problem. To solve the design problem of structural s… Show more

“…Each of these two categories can in turn be divided into subclasses based on the method for signal transduction: electrochemical; optical; mechanical; magnetic; thermometric, and microgravimetric. Certainly less interesting for food application, mechanical sensors detect physical changes due to stress: they are mainly used to measure physical quantities, such as force, acceleration, pressure, and flow [205]. Microgravimetry is used to measure mass changes and offers a possible approach for unlabeled detection of biomolecules [206].…”

“…These applications include but are not limited to human health, vehicles, machines, security food safety, and product tracking. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Therefore, many IoT devices have been investigated in recent years. [8][9][10] In the traditional approach, batteries are employed for the above devices, which pose high power and high energy density.…”
