Chemistry of magmatic and alteration minerals in the Chahfiruzeh porphyry copper deposit, south Iran: implications for the evolution of the magmas and physicochemical conditions of the ore fluids

“…Magmatic biotites from the Chahfiruzeh porphyry display a narrow range, between -3.89 to -4.00, in IV(Cl) values, similar to that reported for magmatic biotite from the Miduk PCD (Boomeri et al, 2009) but slightly lower than that in the Sarcheshmeh PCD (Boomeri et al, 2010). The IV(F) values vary between 1.50 and 3.07, similar to those reported from the Sarcheshmeh and Miduk PCDs (Boomeri et al, 2009(Boomeri et al, , 2010.The IV(F/Cl) values range from 5.50 to 7.02.
