“…Recently, Roden-Tice and Tremblay (2008) have reported apatite fission tracks evidence for Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous tectonic inversion of faults related to the SLRS in the Quebec City and Charlevoix areas. Cenozoic faulting increments are even likely considering that the SLRS represents the most active seismic zone of eastern North America (Hasegawa, 1986;Adams and Basham, 1989;Du Berger et al, 1991;Lamontagne et al, 2000).
