This article corresponds to a systematic review, which aims to characterize the research field on the development of critical thinking skills and analyze the learning strategies used in the educational field of university training. The search is carried out in the WoS and Scopus databases. With a final sample of 64 articles, a bibliometric and content analysis is carried out, investigating: Most used keywords, countries of study, year of publication, language, scientific journals, areas of professional training, research methodologies, learning strategies used to promote critical thinking skills and taxonomies of skills used in the studies of the corresponding sample to 59 countries and 6 papers did not report the country of study. The main results show that: The countries with the highest number of publications are the United States and Indonesia; English continues to predominate as the language of knowledge and the most used learning strategies are those that give prominence to students in the learning process, such as problem-based learning, projects, technology, cases and cooperative learning, as well as the combination of project-based flipped classroom for online learning.

University phase is a major turning point in youth's life and this is a time of profound mental and cognitive development of students. Without proper direction and guidance, it is common for students to develop deviant behaviors, non-law abidance and unhealthy beliefs. In this regard, an integral part of the educational process is the imparting of moral values and law-abiding behaviors in students. The objective of this study was to explore the role of higher education system in fostering law-abiding behavior among Chinese students, as well as the issues it causes for society. For this purpose, the principles of law-abiding behavior were studied and key psychological factors used in the system were identified. The suggestions of the bibliometric research are designed to improve and expand the method for preventing student misbehavior in educational institutions, hence enhancing the efficacy of preventative work with students. They may serve as the basis for the creation and enhancement of programs and strategies aimed at teaching lawful behavior among students. More than 3,785 articles were published related law-abiding behavior from 2000 to the end of July 2022 years were examined in this research using the Scopus database and the original sample was narrowed down to include only articles, book chapter and conference papers that contributed to law-abiding behavior and higher education literature. The VOS viewer software was used to execute the descriptive statistics and scientific mapping approaches using co-citation analysis. In the descriptive analysis, we analyzed publishing patterns over time, the geographical localization of the contributing institutions, journals, the most prolific authors. The findings of the present study may also provide the foundation for a planned educational initiative whose ultimate aim is to produce a fully realized, harmonious, self-reliant, mature, and law-abiding person. The study has provided supporting evidence for how youngsters legal sensibilities are shaped in universities have been implemented. Two distinct but interdependent educational spheres, the normative legal sphere and the space for the creation and development of students' personalities must work together to raise and educate youngsters.

Tidak semua siswa usia di atas 11 tahun telah mencapai kemampuan berpikir formal. Hal ini berdampak pada siswa sering mengalami miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi Kemampuan Berpikir Formal (KBF), miskonsepsi materi konfigurasi elektron yang dialami siswa, dan korelasi antara KBF dan miskonsepsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 4 Takengon sebanyak 87 siswa.Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan soal tes Test of Logical Thinking (TOLT) dan tes diagnostik two-tier multiple choices¬ materi konfigurasi elektron. Hasil analisis TOLT menunjukkan sebanyak 31,0% siswa telah mencapai kemampuan berpikir formal dengan kriteria ‘formal rendah”. Hasil analisis tes diagnostik yang terdiri dari 20 indikator soal menunjukkan sebesar 34,9% siswa mengalami miskonsepsi materi konfigurasi elektron dengan kriteria “rendah”. Miskonsepsi paling tinggi dialami siswa pada indikator “menentukan pola konfigurasi elektron berdasarkan aturan setengah penuh” yaitu sebanyak 47,1% dari 87 siswa. Hasil koefisien korelasi r = -0,818 menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikansi antara KBF dan miskonsepsi dengan interpretasi “tinggi” dan bersifat berlawanan. Hendaknya dalam proses pembelajaran kimia, dihadirkan strategi pembelajaran yang memperhatikan kemampuan berpikir formal. Pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir formal siswa berpotensi mencegah miskonsepsi.
