The experience of carrying out the Operation of the United Nations (antiterrorist operation) on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts shows that the existing procedure for managing the channel and network resources of military radiocommunication systems does not meet the modern requirements, which are put forward for them. The choice of a route in special purpose networks with the ability to self-organize on the basis of specific parameters is the main problem for managing the channel and network resources of special-purpose networks, as well as the difficult task of climbing the network. In this article, the authors analyzed the existing mathematical apparatus for controlling channel and network resources of military radiocommunication systems. During the research, the authors of the article used the classical methods of scientific knowledge, namely, the methods of analysis and synthesis, the basic provisions of the theory of communication, methods of modeling of communication networks, the theory of artificial intelligence, and others. It is established that the existing methods of controlling the channel and network resources of military radiocommunication systems take into account only certain factors influencing the quality of the use of channel and network resources of military radiocommunication systems. Therefore, it is the most expedient to choose a route for information transmission on many parameters based on fuzzy logic and a modified method of the ant colony system, through which searches and maintenance of the path of the packet passing between two points between the node from which the IP packet and the destination node are sent. To find a route, the following parameters must be considered: the energy component, the data rate, the time delay of the IP packet from the node that sends the packet to the destination node and the reliability of the delivery of the IP packet. These parameters should be taken into account while creating mathematical models, methods and techniques for managing channel and network resources of military radio communication systems.

Health Monitoring Based on Internet of Medical Things: Architecture, Enabling Technologies, and Applications

Recently, wearable devices have got increasing popularity in wide applications in medical and disaster rescue efforts to ensure the health and safety of users, which facilitates the development of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). Due to the posture alteration and mobility of users, the topology of the IoMT changes frequently, which increases the difficulty for resource allocation and routing strategy. In this paper, we respectively probe into the health monitoring architectures of the IoMT for both individual and group, allowing the monitored users to move at will. Furtherly, combined with the diversity of disaster rescuers, we build an IoMT-based disaster rescuer health monitoring system with searchers, doctors and porters. For each application, we point out the enabling technologies and demonstrate the existing researches. It is worth noting that the complexity of environment and high mobility of rescuers increase the probability of route breakage. Thus, this paper creatively addresses effective routing repair solutions for route breakage in IoMT-based disaster rescuer health monitoring system by exploiting the mobility of rescuers. Finally, we forecast three most likely directions in the field of IoMTs. INDEX TERMS IoMT, health monitoring, individual, group, disaster rescuer.

In wireless sensor networks, if sink node is stationary, the nodes close to sink will deplete energy faster than those in other areas. The unbalanced energy consumption among the nodes will lead to the energy hole problem, which shortens the network lifetime. To solve the problem, evolutionary game–based trajectory design algorithm for mobile sink in wireless sensor networks is proposed in this article. In evolutionary game model, the average residual energy of each cluster, average intra-cluster energy consumption, and average inter-cluster energy consumption are used to design utility function. The sink will select the cluster with more utility value as its new location and move to the cluster head which has the largest residual energy and the shortest distance to other cluster heads. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively balance network load, reduce network energy consumption, prolong the network lifetime, and increase the number of data packets that sink receives.
