The role of ultrasound in the diagnosis of a rare case of chronic Shistosoma haematobium in the United Kingdom

Abstract: This case report discusses the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis and morbidity assessment of the urogenital form of schistosomiasis. Although previously considered rare in the United Kingdom, the incidence of Schistosoma haematobium has increased in western countries.
