The Role of Ultrasound in the Assessment of Uterine Cervical Cancer

Abstract: Uterine cervical cancer is the second most frequent gynecological malignancy worldwide. The assessment of the extent of disease is essential for planning optimal treatment. Imaging techniques are increasingly used in the pre-treatment work-up of cervical cancer.
