Abstract: BACKGROUND: Distal tibial epiphyseal fractures damage to epiphyseal growth plate. Epiphyseal growth arrest (EGA), reflex sympathetic dystrophy and ankle joint stiffness may also occur after distal tibial epiphyseal injury.
