The role of the adipose tissue microenvironment in kidney cancer

Abstract: Obesity increases the risk of tumourigenesis, but paradoxically may predict better prognosis after cancer has been diagnosed. There is a general lack of understanding of interactions between cancer cells and adipose tissue.
