The role of technical and technological safety in the system of economic security of the organization

Abstract

Introduction. Ensuring the economic security of the country requires the intensive technological renewal of agriculture, which is impossible without the active introduction of innovations. The purpose of this work is to conduct a trend analysis of indicators characterizing the innovative development of the agrarian sector of the economy. Methodology. During the study, the tools of system and trend analysis were used. Results. The conducted trend analysis of the contribution of knowledge-intensive industries to GDP, financing of scientific developments, the number of patents issued for inventions and the number of advanced technologies used in scientific research, the dynamics of labor productivity indices in agriculture and the economy as a whole showed the need to further stimulate research and development and transition agricultural sector on an innovative path of its development. Conclusions. Based on the trend analysis, both positive and negative trends in the innovative development of the Russian economy and its agricultural sector were identified, which, in turn, serves as a rationale for making timely appropriate management decisions.
