The role of red blood cells exchange in Sickle cell disease in a patient with COVID-19 infection and pulmonary infiltrates. (Case report and mini-review)

Abstract: COVID-19 related pneumonia overlaps with ACS, one of the most common acute presentations in SCD patients.We present a case of 22-year-old SCD patient presented to the emergency department with mild respiratory symptoms turned out to be COVID-19 positive and received red blood cell exchange to avoid the possibility of deterioration.
