The Role Of Pediatric Dentists In The Treatment Of Speech / Language Delay In Children

Abstract: ABSTRACT Speech and language development is a helpful indicator of a child's overall development and cognitive ability. Identifying children at risk for developmental delay or related problems at a young age, when the rate of development is highest, may contribute to intervention and assistance. This rationale supports integrating speech and language delay screening in routine developmental health and teeth checkups in preschool children.
