“…Fluorine is a non-metallic element with high electronegativity, which can be found naturally in the forms of fluoride (F). The exposure to this ion can occur both naturally (through volcanic activity, coal combustion, dissolution of minerals, and marine aerosols) and anthropogenically (when F is released as waste from industrial activity or from manufactured products) [1,2].
