The role of morphological evaluation of oocyte and embryo quality in ART programs (a review)

Abstract

The review describes the data on existing classical practice of visual morphological assessment of oocytes and embryos provided in modern clinical assisted reproduction. Structural and functional characteristics of oocytes and embryos in vitro influencing the pregnancy outcomes after ICSI are described.
