The role of meningeal lymphatics in viral meningitis

Abstract: Discovery of the meningeal lymphatic vessels in the brain meninges (coverings of the brain) led to the hypothesis that they carry macromolecules and immune cells from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to cervical lymph nodes (cLN).
