The role of industrial enterprises in ensuring food security

Abstract: This article highlights the role of industrial enterprises in ensuring food security. The main features of the agro-industrial cluster based on production cooperation and the distribution of land allocated for total oilseeds in Kashkadarya region were analyzed. The analysis of the yield of oilseeds in the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kashkadarya region and the efficiency of cultivation of raw cotton on farms in Kashkadarya region were analyzed. The analysis of the efficiency of the crop grown on the farm "Kholiy… Show more

“…On average, the silk yield was 0.126 kg/kg of dried cocoon in the solar dryer as compared to 0.125 kg/kg of dried cocoon in the electrical oven dryer [17]. Analysis of the obtained data shows that the time for complete of marinating of cocoons both in direct and indirect use of solar energy is 90 minutes, hence the productivity of live cocoons is 45 kg/h [18].…”

“…In all the leading silk-growing countries of the world, including in our republic, conveyor cocoon dryers are used for soaking cocoons, which process cocoons with hot air. Coconut dryers of the SK-150K type installed in our republic, 85-90 kg of diesel fuel and 70-75 kW of electric energy are consumed to lure 1 ton of live cocoons [8][9][10].…”

“…Synchronous and asynchronous motors have low reverse sequence resistance. Even small reverse sequence voltages in the TPSS can cause significant reverse sequence currents in engines, which, superimposed on the direct sequence currents, cause current overload of individual phases of the engine and, consequently, additional heating of the stator and rotor which leads to accelerated aging of the insulation and a decrease in the available power of the engine [21,22];  There are additional losses of active power and electrical energy due to the flow of reverse and zero sequence currents in the elements of the TPSS up to 1 kV [4];  Due to voltage losses from the reverse and zero sequence currents, additional voltage deviations in individual phases of the TPSS up to 1 kV appear, which are not eliminated by conventional (three-phase) voltage regulation means [23,24].…”

“…Today, one of the urgent tasks is to ensure food security and meet the demand of the population for protein-rich agricultural products [1][2][3][4]. In this regard, the importance of legumes, including mung beans, is quite high.…”
