“…To enhance the capacitance of NiS 2 , adding carbon nanomaterial is a not a good idea because they store charges by means of electrochemical double layer (EDL), hence exhibiting low specific capacitance. The electrode-active materials such as transition metal oxides (TMOs) [53,54] and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) [55,56] are the best choices to prepare hybrid/nanocomposites with NiS 2 to achieve high specific capacitance.
