The Role of Carbon Steel Corrosion Process on CaCO3 Scaling in Deoxidized Oilfield Injection Water

Abstract: The influencing mechanism of the cathodic and anodic reactions in the corrosion process of carbon steel on CaCO 3 scaling was studied by galvanostatic polarization, and explained by potentiodynamic polarization, and electrochemical calculation mathematical analysis on the Oddo-Tomson saturation index.
