The Role of Bioactive Peptides in Diabetes and Obesity

Abstract: Bioactive peptides are present in most soy products and eggs and have essential protective functions. Infection is a core feature of innate immunity that affects blood pressure and the glucose level, and ageing can be delayed by killing senescent cells. Food also encrypts bioactive peptides and protein sequences produced through proteolysis or food processing. Unique food protein fragments can improve human health and avoid metabolic diseases, inflammation, hypertension, obesity, and diabetes mellitus. This re… Show more

“…Although whey protein and WP have similar biological benefits, a recent study demonstrated that WP more efficiently reduced aging-related oxidative stress compared to whey protein [ 26 ]. It might be because bioactive peptides have stronger cellular affinity and specificity with a higher absorption rate than proteins [ 28 ], which is expected to be more effective for metabolic disorders such as obesity [ 29 ].…”

“…The body weight and food intake of all patients with type 2 diabetes were measured every week, and the effects of the peptide drug tripeptide nano preparation and sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor on body weight and food were observed (23). Then, patients in the standard room breathe at 450nm wavelength to measure the luminosity (OD value) of apolipoprotein, the calculated multimetabolism is given by the leopard nano preparation team, sodium glucometer transporter-2 team and the drug inhibitor polydrug.…”

“…Microbial action, mainly by the gastrointestinal microbiota, on food proteins can generate bioactive peptides, including food-derived compounds with anti-inflammatory activity, and is exerted through the inhibition of signaling components belonging to either the NF-κB or the MAPK pathways [ 21 , 22 ], as well as proteases produced by psychrotrophic bacteria, which are microorganisms that can grow at temperatures used for refrigeration and storage of foodstuffs [ 23 ]. It is currently clear that diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, can be successfully treated simply by consuming diets that generate these bioactive anti-inflammatory peptides [ 24 ].…”
