Abstract:This study investigated the negative impact of exhaust back-pressure (EBP) on diesel engine performance and how it can be mitigated by advancing fuel injection timing (FIT). Experiments were conducted on a diesel engine with various EBP and FIT settings, and the impact of these factors on engine performance was evaluated under a constant load.
