The rise of the Radical Right in Italy: the case of Fratelli d’Italia

Abstract: The emergence of the Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d'Italia [F.d.I.]) in Italian politics has raised debate on the party's core ideologies. This article addresses these questions on the basis of a qualitative content analysis of its party manifestos and discourses since its foundation in 2012. The development of the F.d.
