Abstract:Riparian vegetation is the floral diversity found across water streams and rivers. It is alsoindicated as a transitional zone between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. There is director indirect involvement of riparian vegetation in maintaining nutrient balance, and energyflow in the ecosystems and it also provides various resources to the aquatic micro andmacroinvertebrates.
