The right timing for surgical exploration is the key to saving lives: An analysis of near- miss mortality cases in a tertiary care hospital in North East India

Abstract: Those pregnant women who suffer severe complications and come close to maternal death but do not die are the “near misses”. As India being a country with higher maternal mortality, maternal death review system has been institutionalised in India, however much more needs to be known.
